ATC Fashion, Mixed Media, 2012-2013

This piece of work are actually six trading cards that are used to portray the six art elements, value, shape, texture, color, depth and lines. I made the cards so that when placed together, the pictures actually make a dress.

This was done in 8th grade and this was actually a unit for us the demonstrate our knowledge of the art elements.

I picked this piece of work to publish as I find that this really portrays me as an artist. My love for fashion and art combined into one piece of work. I believe that this is something that really shows me and the artworks that I like to create.

Fashion Surrealism, Color Pencil, 2013-2014

This piece was done in my 8th grade class when we were working on the surrealism unit. We had to take images from magazines and place them together in a surreal way, like lipstick coming from the shoe and a dress growing from a pair of shorts.

I published this piece of work because, again, I believe that this shows me as an artist and what I love to create. I really like soft textures and colors in the background so this was one of my favorite backgrounds that I had ever drawn. I love how soft and girly it is and I think that it is also part of my personality. I love putting girly twists on our summative art projects.
