So open your eyes and see
The way your horizons meet
All of the lights will meet
Into the night with me
And I know these scars will bleed
But both of our hearts believe
All of the stars will guide us home...

The Fault in Our Stars Soundtrack
This is a peep box kinetic sculpture that have the constellation horoscopes lighting up in a cycle. I had always loved watching the stars in the dark night sky, and with our busy lives, as well as living in Hong Kong, I don't get to do that very much. This was an opportunity to bring the entire experience of the calmness and hopefulness in stargazing. My main message for this piece is to enjoy the little things in life. They might be little, but they are there and we always look past them, but these little things can be so special. I used wood to create the box and I poked tiny holes through cardboard, where I wove a string of LED lights underneath to create the cycle. In the future, I would love to create more sculptures based on constellations. I find them so interesting and beautiful at the same time and I think that it could create many different dynamic sculptures.
